Dewin is a new vineyard in Wales. Their inspirations for the vineyard identity are rooted in a fusion of real-life Celtic history and make-belief history such as the wizards of ‘Lord of the Rings’.
‘Dewin’ means wizard in welsh and ‘win’ means wine. It's actually a genius name...
I presented the welsh wizards of wine a couple of options for their brand identity and they ultimately loved this rough-around-the-edges Brittonic inspired altered typeface. The icon is a nod to a goblet of wine, constructed using the same ‘D’ and ‘E‘ we can see in the logotype.
